Neighborhoods in District Four include: Coquillard Woods, East Jefferson Boulevard (northern), Harter Heights, Howard Park/East Bank, McKinley Terrace, Northeast, North Shore Triangle, Old Sunnyside Farm, and Wooded Estates. Notable recent additions to the district include Eddy Street Commons and the Indiana University School of Medicine - South Bend.

What does the council do? 

The mayor is tasked with formulating plans; the council’s role is to scrutinize them. The legislative role requires the ability to provide thorough, unbiased scrutiny of proposed laws.
